Antique Zulu neck band circa 1900 (ZAW)

A fine old three coil neck band in traditional dark green, light pink, white and black beads with rows beads oversewn at regular intervals. Late 19th – early 20th centuries. For a similar example of oversewn decoration, see two belts on page 87 of "Souht East African Bedadwork by Stevenson and Graham-Stewart. Size 43 cm/17 cm by 3 cm / 1 inch.
