Unusual Thembu courting belt (XBD)

The Thembu prefer coral pink beads to red and this X strand belt, made for a young person, is almost all pink, with a little bkue,m black , white and green (the last a fertility colour).The two ends are sewn onto thin rawhide with the traditional Xhosa closure of a thread wound around two buttons is standard.
